Recipe Directions
Brownie Batter
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Take a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan (approx.) and grease with 1 tbs. of butter.
- In a saucepan, add 1 cup of butter and chopped dark chocolate to it.
- Turn on the stove on low heat.
- Let the butter and chocolate melt together in the saucepan.
- Remove the pot from the heat once the butter has melted.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Mix eggs, sugar, Kona coffee, vanilla essence, and salt in a large mixing bowl for at least 5 minutes on high speed with an electric mixer.
- Once combined, pour the cooled chocolate and butter mixture.
- Using a low-speed blender, combine the butter and chocolate.
- Finally, add the all-purpose flour and beat on high until thoroughly combined.
- In a separate container, mix strongly brewed Kona coffee and Kahlúa, then stir into the batter.
- Blend with the help of the mixer.
- Now your batter is ready!
Brownie Preparation
- Pour the batter into the previously butter greased pan.
- Place the baking pan in the preheated oven (Remember not to bake your brownies on the bottom rack of your oven.)
- Bake for 35 minutes to get your scrumptious and gooey brownies ready.
- Once the brownies are done, take them out of the oven and place them in a wire rack.
- Let them cool at room temperature.
- Once they’ve cooled, cut them into perfect squares to serve.
- You may top the brownies with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles on the serving plate to make them flavorsome.
Tip:
(Remember not to bake your brownies on the bottom rack of your oven, as this may cause them to burn. It’s ideal to cook your brownies on a rack that’s one-third up from the bottom of the oven.)
